As parents, one of our jobs is to get our children prepared for the future. We tell our kids that adversity is actually an opportunity, but why don’t we believe that ourselves sometimes? I have been telling my daughter that when she loses, she actually wins. I tell her that adversity gives her an opportunity to perfect her craft, to develop more skills and to sharpen her sword.
