Aljona Black is a Junior Paralegal at Dow Divorce Law, PLLC. Prior to joining the team, Aljona assisted families with financial matters, guiding them through residential mortgage and consumer loan processes.
Being a military spouse of over twenty years, Aljona has seen many families fall apart due to the stress of the military lifestyle. She observed many spouses struggle to land back on their feet after divorces, being scared to lose access to their children, as they did not have strong legal support on their side.
Aljona decided to pivot her career and join the legal industry. Aljona obtained her Paralegal certification, which was a great addition to her bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in Finance, and Master’s in Business Administration. She was fortunate to join the team whose values of integrity, honesty, open-mindedness, and a desire to help others were as strong as hers.
Aljona finds it very rewarding supporting clients with her knowledge and expertise during challenging times and helping them obtain their goals, whether it is buying their first home, securing presence in their children’s lives, or achieving financial independence.
Aljona enjoys being active outdoors, swimming, biking, traveling, gardening, and soaking up the sun on the beach.
